What We Do?

• Jen’s Place is a Long-term Care Facility.  This approach provides the youth placed in this residence the opportunity to remain in a stable environment until they turn 18.

• Jen’s Place provides Individualized Therapeutic Programs tailored to address emotional, behavioural, educational and social difficulties

• Jen’s Place provides a comprehensive Alternative Day Treatment Program that targets and addresses the residents needs in the areas of Education, Therapeutic Intervention, Life Skills and Community Involvement

• Jen’s Place is wholeheartedly committed to integrating an Environment of Respect, and Normalcy with a variety of intervention/treatment approaches

• Jen's Place will undertake the role of caregiver and will be a Proactive Participant in the Development of the Youth in its Care.

• Jen’s Place provides 24 hour staff supervision for the youth who reside in the home.

Jen’s Place will promote education, caring communities, active community involvement, creating social support networks in different environments, and experiences to boost self-esteem, self efficacy and self-control.

Jen’s Place will promote secure and caring relationships that promote resiliency, connectedness, personal choices, independence, positive peer interactions and coping skills

Jen’s Place will promote empowerment, security, identity development, consideration, respect, assertiveness, self-reliance, and decision making rather than control.
