JULY – SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!

This is it, summer has officially arrived. The frost is gone and the sun is shining! Summertime for Jen’s Place is usually very active and entertaining. Locally, for both houses, there are festivals and celebrations which we try and attend; even taking part in a pow-wow in Barrie is not out of the question. Summer is the time for experiencing, as school is out and there are a lot more opportunities for the staff and residents to share laughs and adventures together. In this issue we will also be sharing an article from “Health Matters” titled: ‘Walk the Talk With Your Teen’; a great article addressing how adolescents tend to mimic their parents or caregivers behavior(s).
